Consultation Workshop with Color by Kriss

We recently took part in a consultation workshop with Color by Kriss as part of our ongoing commitment to elevating the guest experience.

Because great hair doesn’t start with the formula. It starts with the conversation.

This workshop helped us go deeper into the art of listening, understanding goals more clearly, and creating even more intentional, customized experiences behind the chair. Education like this keeps us growing, refining, and showing up with even more clarity and care for every guest who trusts us.

Pride Party in North Old Town

This month, we had such a beautiful time at the Pride Party in North Old Town, celebrating love, individuality, and the joy of showing up fully as yourself.

It was colorful, vibrant, and full of the kind of energy that reminds us why we love being part of this neighborhood. Moments like these make community feel real in the best way.

Alexandria City Pride Event

We also had the honor of hosting a booth at the Alexandria City Pride Event, where we got to celebrate and stand with our LGBTQIA+ community.

At deZEN, inclusion has never been an extra. It’s part of who we are. We’re proud to create spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and celebrated exactly as they are. Being part of Pride in multiple ways this month felt especially meaningful, and we’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and shared the day with us.

Nineteen years of hair, heart, growth, transformation, community, and the kind of connections that go far beyond the chair. We’re so incredibly grateful for every guest, every story, and every season you’ve trusted us to be part of. What started as a vision has grown into something so much bigger than us; and that’s because of you.
