Dana Henson

It all began in Austin, TX for Dana Henson at the Vidal Sassoon Partner Academy, where she mastered the craft of precision hair cutting. In 2012, Dana became certified in Sassoon’s cutting systems and Wella color. With an immense amount of knowledge, Dana was immediately ready to start working behind the chair, where she created mesmerizing hair.

She specializes in all aspects of color, including blonding, balayage, highlights, color melts, and lived-in looks. After four years of being on the floor, Dana decided to further her love of hair by achieving her educator license and teaching at a Paul Mitchell school as a clinical floor learning leader and color specialist. Dana is incredibly passionate about teaching and went on to work as a L’Oreal educator and French hair-cutting master educator under Carsten Wilms. Dana’s career took her to Los Angeles, where she continued working as an educator with prestigious brands like Matrix and Redken. In true Hollywood fashion, Dana’s incredible resume landed several celebrity clients in her chair, where she created red carpet-worthy hair.

With a love of travel, Dana has had the opportunity to style and color hair all over the United States. With such diverse achievements, Dana naturally developed strong interpersonal communication skills as well as a strong sense of self and purpose. Dana’s family and friends would describe her as upbeat, positive, empathetic, and driven. Outside of the salon, Dana is a certified yoga teacher, a personal trainer, a lover of animals, and a health enthusiast with a holistic approach. During down time, Dane loves spending time in nature, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
