WALK-INS

We do welcome walk-in clients, however, it is based upon availability. If we are busy there may be a waiting period or you may be required to schedule an appointment.

 

APPOINTMENTS

Please arrive on time or early for your appointment to ensure full service. If you arrive 10 minutes after your scheduled time, we will do everything we can to accommodate, but please keep in mind you may have to wait or reschedule.
If you require any type of correction to your hair service, please notify us promptly.

Our schedule is dedicated to our clients and their needs, but when we have a no-show or last minute cancellation we cannot fill that appointment space with another person. As a result we require at least 24 hours notification via phone to cancel an appointment to ensure that you will not be charged for the appointment.
Any cancellation or no-show with less than 24 hours notice will incur a fee which varies by service but to be 50% of the cancelled scheduled appointment price.

DO NOT cancel via email. If no one is available to take your cancellation request, please leave us a voicemail as it will be time stamped.

We send out email confirmations automatically to each client who has supplied us with their email within 48-hours of your appointment. At that point you may confirm or cancel your appointment online.

Due to the nature of our services, no refunds will be granted. We stand by our services and will do everything to ensure your satisfaction.

 

PAYMENTS & GRATUITIES

We accept cash as well as credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We are unable to provide cash back on credit card charges.
*As of 03.04.16: Gratuity is not included, but may be left in cash (we provide envelopes for your discretion), Check, Paypal or Venmo.

 

CHILD POLICY

We love children! However, as a courtesy to other salon guests, and in our effort to offer a zen atmosphere, we ask that you please be aware that it is your responsibility to watch your children at all times.

 

PET POLICY

We love well behaved pets! However please be aware that some animals may not be accustomed to the sound of blowdryers and other salon noises. In an effort to offer a zen atmosphere to our clients we ask that you do not bring your animal if they are typically anxious, skittish or aggressive.

Products
We use KEVIN.MURPHY COLOR.ME, Joico Color Intensity and Color Dynamics in our color services.
We are proud to say that KEVIN.MURPHY and GK Hair products are certified cruelty free.
We also offer Olaplex as an add on for our lightening services.


RETURNS
We offer exchanges on our retailed hair care products purchased within 60 days that are at half full or more. We do not accept returns or offer refunds.
DINAIR and Blinc make up products will not be exchanged due to hygienic reasons.
No exchanges or returns on products we no longer carry or that are on clearance.

COLOR SERVICES
KEVIN.MURPHY colors are free of ammonia, PPD, and parabens. Because of this we recommend that you come in for your color service with your hair clean and dry (no product build up, no sweaty hair).
We recommend booking a consultation appointment with your desired stylist before your scheduled service.

 

PARKING

Metered and unmetered parking is available in Old Town along the streets surrounding our establishment.
The meters on our block take nickels, dimes, quarters, dollar coins, or credit cards (excluding American Express) and are subject to inspection Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
PANGO is the parking app used in Old Town Alexandria. Click here for more information about PANGO.
The code for the PANGO meters on our street block is 11035. If ever in doubt, please check the signs or meter nearest your vehicle. They do change codes from time to time without notice.
