Do the Do
Maintaining and evolving our style identity can be an overwhelming task, one which we feel is necessary for our careers and lifestyles but which can also frustrate us by taking up too much space and time in our lives. Two common hacks for saving time while maximizing style are ponytails and braids. Combining these two staples can breathe new lfe into our style identity with little added effort.
Fasten hair into three ponytails, one at the crown, the middle of the head and the nape. Braid the top two ponytails halfway down and fasten with clear elastics. Wrap each braid over the base of its ponytail and pin letting the rest of the braid hang down. Take the ends of the braids and weave and pin them into the bottom ponytail. Don't overthink it, just braid, wrap and pin. The look is eyecatching without being over finished.
Technically, not a braid, but so easy and cute,
we had to add it, this look is super simple. Part hair in the center or use a side part and fasten in a low ponytail at the nape. Backcomb the ponytail. Don't hesitate to make it big, this look is based on texture and fullness. Gently smooth the surface of the ponytail and use clear elastics to fasten the ponytail in 3-5 sections depending on the length of your hair. Starting at the top of the ponytail, gently pull the hair of each section out a little to create a soft poof. Cute, chic, fast!
Create a side part. On the heavy side of the part, section out a pie shaped section of hair from the part to the arch of the eye and back to the crown. Twist and clip out of the way. Fasten the rest of the hair in a ponytail at the nape. Release the hair from your pie-shaped section, comb smooth and loosely braid the ends of the section. Secure with a clear elastic and wrap the braid around the ponytail and secure.
Try these hair hacks to refresh your look and give yourself more space. Ommmm!
